Welcome to the Georgia State Series!

The 2007 Georgia State Series is just around the corner. We again will be running in the upper half of Georgia and the GKA will have a WKA series in the lower half.

 

2006 Banquet
The 2006 year end extravaganza was held December 9th at Dave and Busters located in Duluth, Georgia just off I-85 at Steve Reynolds Blvd Exit 103.

The Banquet was a huge success with over 160 people in attendance. Everyone had a great meal, received a lot of awards and voted on a couple of major issues. Some say this was the best banquet they have ever attended.

There was a vote by the senior drivers for the series to be a money series or awards series and the vote was for awards. There will still be money given at the banquet next year just as it was this year.

The next vote was if the drivers wanted to prep or not to prep and the vote was overwhelming, race with NO prep.

2007 TIRE RULES:
We will be running the 2007 WKA tire rules which are Senior classes Maxxis HT-5 and Junior Classes Vega Oval Yellow. Tires may be cut and the tires do not have to be new, but they must be the spec tire for the class and be unprepped. NO PREPPING ALLOWED
